Program Fees
Elkus Ranch is an ideal outdoor classroom for your school, group or party. Our friendly ranch animals, gardens, historic barns, picnic area and acres of open space provide the perfect setting for students to connect with nature and learn about environmental stewardship. Day and overnight educational programs are available, and a pricing breakdown is listed below. As a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit, we strive to keep our prices affordable for all groups.
Elkus fees

A minimum charge of $150.00 applies to all programs.
Please schedule at least 2 weeks in advance for any program.
SCHOOL FIELD TRIPS
- Ranch Tours: TK/Preschool: 2-hour ranch tour program 9:30am-11:30am
- $10.00 per person (students and adults - no siblings please).
- No charge for teachers
- Ranch Tours: Kindergarten - 12th Grade /Homeschoolers: 3-hour ranch tour program 10:00am-1:00pm
- $12.00 per student, no siblings please. (scholarships available for title 1 schools)
- No charge for teachers/paraprofessionals/aids and first 3 adult chaperons
- $15.00 per additional adult chaperones
- Lunch at the Ranch (2nd grade and up): 4-hour nutrition program 9:30am-1:30pm
- $25.00 per person (children and adults). No charge for teacher and first 6 adult chaperones.
- $25.00 per additional adult chaperone
- No scholarships are available for Lunch at the Ranch at this time
ALTERNATIVE PROGRAMS
- School Overnight at the Ranch: 10:00am-9:00am
- Morning educational program 10:00am-12:30pm,
- Available Mondays through Saturdays
- Afternoon ranch chores 1:00-3:00pm
- Departure at 9:00am the following day
- $45.00 per student.
- No charge for 3 adult chaperones
Small Group Tours
- Are held on Saturdays (and some school holidays)
- All Small Group Tours begin at 10:00am and end at 11:30am.
- Cost:
- $175.00 for 1-10 people, each additional person $15.00 (20 people max for Small Group tours)

Birthday Parties
- 3-hour private outdoor party with tour for up to 30 guests (adults and children): $350.00
- 3-hour private outdoor party with tour for 30 to 60 guests (adults and children): $650.00
Birthday Parties include staffing and ranch tour only. All other items (i.e., food, decorations, etc.) shall be provided by the host. No balloons on Elkus Ranch please, they are dangerous for our livestock and wildlife!
