Program Fees

UC Elkus Ranch is an ideal outdoor classroom for your school or group! Our friendly livestock animals, gardens, historic barns and acres of open space provide the perfect setting for students to connect with nature and learn about environmental stewardship. Day and overnight educational programs are available and a pricing breakdown is listed below. As a certified 501(c)3 nonprofit, we strive to keep our prices affordable for all groups.

Pricing:

  • Preschool: 2 hour ranch tour program (typically 9:30am-11:30am)

    • $8 per person (children and adults), no charge for teachers

  • Kindergarten - 12th Grade:  3 hour ranch tour program (10am-1pm)

    • San Mateo County Schools:  $9.00 per student, no charge for adults

    • Schools outside of San Mateo County:  $10/student,
      no charge for adults

  • Lunch at the Ranch (2nd-8th grades): 4 hour nutrition program (9:30am-1:30pm)

    • $17 per person (children and adults). No charge for teacher or first 6 adult chaperones. 

  • Overnight Programs:  (10am-10am)

    • $40.00/student. No charge for adults 

      SCHEDULE:

      • Morning educational program (10am-12:30pm)

      • Afternoon ranch chores (1:00-3:00pm)

      • Departure at 10 am the following day

  • Non-school educational programs (scouts, 4-H, etc.)

    • $10.00 per child. No charge for adult chaperones.

  • A minimum charge of $100 applies to all programs.

  • Please contact us if your group requests a timeframe outside of the program times listed above.
